Specialization & Research
- Tin oxide paste with good adhesion and electrical properties has been developed
- The firing temperature of developed paste has been found to be 650˚C which is significant in the lab environment as even the paste developed by ESL (Europe) has firing temperature 550˚C.
- Effect of Pd doping on the sensitivity of tin oxide sensor towards methanol has been investigated and 1% Pd-doped thick film sensor found to possess highest sensitivity (95.05%) for Methanol at 300˚C.
- Effect of CuO doping and its concentration on the sensitivity of tin oxide thick film gas sensor for detection of H2S has been investigated. CuO doping of 1%, 2%, and 5% have been used along with un-doped sensor. Tin oxide based thick film sensor for gas H2S detection.
