The department of MCA came into being in 2006 with the introduction of M.C.A. course and by far, a mix of young and experienced faculty.

It is a place where intelligence, innovation and insight are given space to thrive.

The program aims to provide the students with the knowledge and skills needed to become competent professionals in the computing.

The Master’s degree programme is an ideal blend of theory comprising concepts and advanced applications and a rigorous practice that reinforces the theory to give the students, the knowledge and skills needed for employment and an ability to cope with the advancing knowledge beyond the curriculum frame work.

The implementation of instruction is systematic and is aimed at developing creativity, solving open-ended problems and a bit of desire to research.

The project work is so chosen that it calls for an integrated knowledge of quite a few subjects and pose a real challenge to the ability of the student.

The Department is conscious that they are dealing with a knowledge area whose paradigms are constantly shifting and the knowledge obsolescence is as high as the expansion is vast.

The Department provides internet facility to the students. All systems are fully networked within the department and to the institute's campus
